Training

Education and Training to support other industries

With over 20 years of experience caring for the community, including those at the end of their lives, we know how difficult it can be for healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, as those under their care approach the end of life. Arranging a funeral or the passing of a loved one is a difficult time, and many Funeral Directors are opaque about the process. For many, the first time they get any insight in to how it works is when they are arranging a funeral themselves.

As a healthcare professional, you are dedicated to providing exceptional care to your patients and their families, and we understand that you may encounter situations that involve end-of-life care and funeral arrangements. That’s why we offer specialized training for healthcare professionals like nurses, social workers, and other care providers to help them better understand the funeral arrangement process and how to provide support to patients and families during this difficult time.

Our training programs are designed to provide comprehensive education on funeral arrangements, including the legal and ethical aspects, cultural and religious considerations, and the emotional and psychological impact on families. Our experienced funeral directors will guide you through the entire process, providing practical tools and resources to help you better support your patients and their families.

Our training programs cover a range of topics, including:

  • Understanding the funeral arrangement process
  • Legal and ethical considerations surrounding end-of-life care and funeral arrangements
  • Cultural and religious considerations in funeral planning
  • Communication skills for discussing funeral arrangements with patients and families
  • Grief and bereavement support for patients and families

We offer both in-person and virtual training options, making it easy for you to fit our courses into your busy schedule. Our training programs are designed to be informative, engaging, and practical, so you can immediately apply what you’ve learned to your work with patients and families.

If your organisation requires, or is interested in, training on the funeral process, we hope to hear from you and are happy to advise or book a session at your earliest convenience. Please contact us today.
